Andy Farkas

President/Co-Founder

I have more than twenty years of experience in the real estate industry working with both private and public companies. Prior to forming OSM Cost Segregation Inc., I was in charge of managing the real estate tax practice of a San Diego based real estate company where I provided my clients with superior business and tax strategies for their varied business transactions.

 

I have analyzed projects spanning the entire US, including multifamily and apartment projects, hospitals, government buildings, hotels, manufacturing & industrial facilities, retail outlets, offices, auto dealerships, casinos, golf courses, gas stations, and restaurants. In addition to securing millions in accelerated deductions for my clients, I have provided additional real estate and tax consulting services such as construction risk consulting, research & experimentation tax studies, asset retirement/demolition studies, and bonus depreciation consulting. My tax savings advice has benefited clients and has been featured in numerous publications.

Karoly Varga

I have been conducting Cost Segregation studies locally and globally ( Germany , Austria, Switzerland, France,England )  ranging from multi-million-dollar commercial to residential properties which includes office and  apartment buildings,  large retail centers, industrial facilities.  My role in the company is to ensure that the Cost Segregation Reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner while maximizing the tax benefit for my clients.

 

Prior to OSMcostseg., I  worked with a leading tax consulting firm in San Diego providing federal income tax planning  serving real estate clients  which includes tax depreciation, capitalization and repair deductions, The firm was later acquired by Ernst & Young and it is now a part of EY’s Private Client Services.

 

I enjoy spending time with my two children and wife of more than 13 years. As a family, we enjoy all sorts of outdoor activities ranging from hiking to spending time at the beach.
